Motone Customs BMW RnineT

The BMW RnineT is currently one of the best loved motorcycles in the world to customise. For this project for Motone Customs, ClayMoto provided clay modeling expertise and consulted with the designer to create a modern feeling motorcycle with simple, classic lines. For example the fuel tank, inspiration was taken from the old “air-head” BMW tanks, such as found on the original BMW R90S/R100S of the late seventies. Following the clay, the model was scanned and then reconstructed in CAD, before eventually going on to a limited production run.
